Areté offers a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, emphasizing the skills necessary for success in challenging undergraduate programs in the U.S. and abroad. In addition the five traditional high school subjects (English, social science/history, mathematics, laboratory science, and foreign language), our four-year Great Ideas requirement produces graduates fluent in the basic tenets of philosophy, anthropology, sociology, psychology, and political science.
